Mervyn Jones (Non-Executive Director)
Mervyn has spent much of his career in the oil industry both in the UK and abroad, holding a number of trading, commercial and business restructuring roles with BP. More recently he has been a Council Member of the Scottish Funding Council for Further and Higher Education, there chairing its Strategic Funds and Knowledge Transfer and Innovation Groups. He is Chairman of Aquamarine Power Ltd, a partner of Maple Jones, non-executive Director of Greenrock Energy Supply Company and a Member of Court of the University of St Andrews. Mervyn has recently won the IoD 2009 Scottish Non-Executive Director of the Year Award.
